Peanut's Supersessions fork...

There have been pictures floating around the internet of Peanut's Space fork that broke last weekend at Atomlab Supersessions. Peanut has been testing a prototype fork for us for the last few months. We decided to test a new harder aluminum for the crown in order to further strengthen the fork. The result was that this new material was more likely to crack and fail.

Peanut was NOT using a production fork. The Space Jump forks are not likely to fail in this matter at all, however, we have learned a lot from our prototype testing that will be translated into the designs of our forks. We are working closely with the RST factory in Taiwan to solve this issue and closely examining the fork so we can continue our process to make the Space fork even stronger in the future.

We are really happy that Peanut is ok and are confident that riders do not associate RST with the failed prototype.
